Since their take-over of Hoogenweerth Castle in Maastricht in 2011 Estate Management Group has had an ambition to grow in their home-region; the Maastricht Region in Limburg, The Netherlands.
Our venues are all unique by nature. Castles, churches, but also industrial locations. Castle Hoogenweerth for instance, a castle first mentioned in 1444 (belonging to the Belgian city of Liège then) and Rebelle Maastricht a church converted to an event venue can host up to 900 guests.
“We have a sales department of our own” Danny Keppels says “but our cooperation with the Maastricht Convention Bureau has been a great move for us. The MCB has shown good strategy and focus over the last years and has helped the entire region! Our region is top of mind now with a lot of PCO’s and congress planners. And we truly mean cooperation, we all work together.”
Martin Hendricks: “Being situated in the south of the Netherlands, in between Belgium and Germany and only 2 hours from France and Luxemburg doing business crossing borders is something which is common to us. From childhood on, we are raised with a 360 degree view.” Even more the region has 5 international airports within an 1,5 hour drive and several technology hubs. Such as the Brightlands campus in Sittard (NL), RWTH in Aachen (DE) and the technology industry in Liège (BE).
