During the International Conference & General Assembly of European Cities Marketing (ECM) in Ljubljana, Jurgen Moors was chosen as a new member of the ECM board. ECM is the association for tourism organizations, convention agencies and city marketing organizations in Europe. Currently, 120 cities are members of ECM and there are ambitious growth ambitions for the future.
Board members oversee the performance and further development of the association (established in 1901) and are appointed for a term of three years, which may be extended by a second term. Jurgen is joining the board at a very important moment as the French headquarter of the organization is currently developing a new vision and strategy for the future. In addition to Maastricht, cities such as Madrid, London, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Amsterdam are represented in the board.
