Excellent (inter)national train connections
Maastricht has excellent train connections, both national and international. Every 30 minutes there is an intercity train connection to and from Eindhoven (1 hour travel), Utrecht (2 hours travel) and Amsterdam (2½ hours travel). There are frequent connections from and to Liège (Belgium), Brussels (Belgium) and Aachen (Germany) where you can change to international trains – Thalys, TGV, Eurostar – to London, Paris and other European cities.
Three railway stations
Maastricht has 3 railway stations: Maastricht Central, Maastricht North and Maastricht Randwyck. From Central you can walk directly into the city centre where many hotels are located. Maastricht North gives you direct access to the city’s suburbs. It offers excellent Park & Ride possibilities: there are 360 parking spots available. You can reach Maastricht Central from North in just 6 minutes. Randwyck Station is located only 250 meters from the MECC Convention Centre. Also the Academic Hospital (azM), Maastricht University, Maastricht School of Management and many hotels are situated in the Randwyck station area.
