‘Magical Maastricht’ Pre Tour IBTM

It’s almost time once again for Magical Maastricht! This three-day tour is a joint initiative by MECC Maastricht and the Maastricht Convention Bureau, designed for American and European associations to discover the city of Maastricht and explore the renewed MECC Maastricht conference centre. Experience the magic of Maastricht covered with festive lights, enjoy the hospitality and deepdive into Maastricht’s scientifc and innovative side. Meet the most European city of the Netherlands, where history meets innovation, luxury meets knowledge, fine dining meets future foods, and heritage meets science.
- 8 am First arrivals at Brussels International
- 8-12 am Departures to Crowne Plaza Hotel
- 12.45 pm Lunch at Poshoorn Maastricht
- 2 pm Check-in and leisure time
- 3 pm Departure to Provincial House
- 3.30 pm Visit to the Maastricht Treaty
- 4.45 pm Departure to restaurant Luster
- 5 pm Casual dinner
- 9 pm Return to Crowne Plaza
Saturday 15 November
- 8-9.15 am Breakfast at leisure
- 9.30 am Maastricht City Tour including visit to Kruisheren Hotel
- 12 am Lunch at Art Gallery Artichoque
- 1.45 pm Art workshop
- 3.15 pm Time at leisure
- 6.30 pm Surprise Dinner
- 10.30 pm Return to Crowne Plaza
Sunday 16 November
- 8-9.15 am Breakfast at leisure
- 9.30 am Walk to Bonnefanten Museum
- 9.30 am Guided tour at Bonnefanten Museum
- 12 pm Lunch at Ipanema and presentation Ria Joosten Catering & Events
- 1.45 pm Walk to MECC Maastricht
- 2 pm Tour of MECC Maastricht
- 4.30 pm Departure to Crowne Plaza
- 6.30 pm Closing Dinner at Castle Mheer, accompanied by Major Alain Krijnen
- 9.30 pm Return to Crowne Plaza
Monday 17 November

- 9 am Tour and presentation at MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine
