Light show on Vrijthof square

Every evening a visualized light spectacle will take place, where the rich military history of Maastricht will be brought back to life. From medieval knights and fortresses, the big military attacks of Frederik Hendrik in 1632 and in 1673 by “Sun King” Lodewijk XIV, until the German occupation in World War II with the festive liberation. 
To relive and salute the olden days there will be a changing of the Guards, which will be done by the “Maastrichter Brigade” in front of the former headquarters building.

The light show will take 20 minutes and will be projected every evening from 19.00 hrs until 22.00 hrs. Houben Mediaverhuur cooperates in this light show.
