The CTCM (Clinical Trial Center Maastricht) and the MUMC+ (Maastricht Universitair Medisch Centrum) organise a conference on the future of human bounded research on the 26th of January 2012.

The Clinical Trial Center Maastricht supports the researchers in the MUMC+ on every aspect of clinical research since it’s founding in 2005.

For this conference all stakeholders of human bounded research at the MUMC+ are invited and also representatives from the (pharma) industry and representatives from the life science companies in the MUMC+ environment.

During the conference the future developments will be discussed regarding human bounded research. The speakers will talk about research in the near future from different views;
-    From the industry (Director Quintiles Netherlands)
-    From the allowance provider (Programme leader zonMW)
-    From the Government (Inspector IGZ and general secretary CCMO)
-    MUMC+

After the presentations a panel discussion will take place, where next to the speakers, several prominent researchers from the MUMC+ will discuss the future of human bounded research. The moderator, Prof Herman Pieterse, Profess Medical Consultancy BV, authority in the field of GCP in the Netherlands, will lead the discussion.
