6th Museum conference

After five years the Museumcongress returns to the place where it all started. Recently it was announced that the sixth Museum congress on the 4th and 5th of October 2012 will take place in MECC Maastricht. The conference  is intended for professionals to exchange knowledge.  Maastricht is the perfect location to get away from the crowds on everybody’s work, to talk to each other, the listen to speakers and to network.

6th Museum conference

At the Museumcongress gather every year around 700 museum professionals for discussion, inspiration and networking. Each year several cities applicant to organize the congress. Maastricht has this year been chosen because of the compactness of the city, extensive congress facilities of the MECC, the beautiful Bonnefantenmuseum at the Meuse, the centenary of the Natuurhistorisch Museum and the just renovated Museum aan het Vrijthof.
