The Maastricht Convention Bureau is a foundation of several organisations in Maastricht & surrounding area which provide their services to you as planner of meetings, incentives, conventions and events.

We offer professional, independent and objective information, advice and mediation regarding any aspect of organising business meetings: congress centres, hotels, venues for your party or dinner, transportation, organisational support, catering, social and partner programmes. Our services are entirely free of charge.

We know the facilities and possibilities of Maastricht & surrounding area like no one else: we represent more than forty different organisations which all can be of service to you. For instance, we work with event agencies, PCOs, caterers, transport companies and suppliers of audio visual equipment and personnel. But naturally, we also represent a variety of design and classic venues such as convention centres, hotels, party and dinner locations, castles and even caves! In the historic part of town, but also in the sections with modern architecture and in the green hilly surroundings of Maastricht.

The people behind the Maastricht Convention Bureau

Members of the board are Mr R. Stevens (independent chairman), Mr R. Goltstein (for the hotels in Maastricht & surrounding area), Ms B. Dormans (for the supporting companies) Mr R. Hanssen (for MECC Maastricht) and Mr N. Bos (for the Maastricht Tourist Office). The director Mr Marcel Knols, Sales Manager Meetings & Incentives Mrs Tamara Piatkiewitz-Weide, Sales Manager Conventions Mrs Sonja Opreij-Speth and MICE Coordinator Mrs Katja Zambib-Otten take care of the daily business.
